A contractor in India watches many portals at once: the state e-procurement portal, CPPP for central departments, GeM, and the sites of public sector buyers. Each has its own search screen, its own CAPTCHA and its own way of listing documents, and the same work is often described in different words.

Frequently asked questions

How do I search government tenders online in India?

Government tenders are published on official e-procurement portals: each state’s portal (most use NIC’s GePNIC system), the Central Public Procurement Portal (CPPP) for central departments, and GeM for goods and services. You can search each portal separately, or use tender search software such as Luit AI, which searches them from one plain-language request and links every result to its official notice.

What is AI tender search?

AI tender search reads a request written in everyday words, works out the place, type of work, buyer, value and dates you mean, and searches tender portals with those filters. Luit AI does this on Google Gemini and ranks tenders that have downloadable official documents first.

Can Luit download tender documents automatically?

Yes. When you save a tender, Luit opens its notice on the official portal and downloads the published documents, such as the notice, bid document and BOQ, to the tender. If a portal is slow or busy it tries again on its own. Once a portal’s document download period has ended, the portal no longer gives out the files, and Luit says so instead of trying.

Does Luit AI find tenders in Assam and Northeast India?

Yes. Luit AI searches assamtenders.gov.in and the GePNIC portals of the other Northeast states, along with CPPP, GeM and public sector buyers, so contractors across Assam and the Northeast can search them together.

Can I see only tenders that are still open?

Yes. Searches show tenders that are still open by default, newest first. Closed tenders appear only when you ask for them, for example to study past rates.
